54% in NV. Joe in second place with 17% with 6% reporting so far.

Looks like Bernie is going to have a heart attack. It’s the only way the DNC will stop him.

Should be no surprise that this state is heavily influenced by unions in Clarke County.

No. No surprise there.

That's who elected Harry Reid.

I agree. But you could see it coming.

When CEO's have multi million dollar golden parachutes and their workforce hasn't has a raise in 20 years,...when college educations start costing $150,000 and up,...when health insurance eats up 30% of your paycheck *if* it's even offered where you work,....when a fatcat like Bloomberg amasses a 60 billion dollar fortune without ever getting his first skinned knuckle,....

,...socialism is going to rear its ugly head.

Capitalism is the best system there in until it gets corrupted. But I don't see how it can keep from becoming corrupted.

Eventually, there will be people who are successful enough at Capitalism that they accumulate enough money to influence the government.

Once that happens,....the people are fugged,...and a Communist will step in offering to unfug them.

That's where America is today.

Yeah,...I know.

But that stuff is ancient history to two generations of voting age Americans these days. It's 2020.

All they know is,..they have to indenture themselves for half of their life to get an education,...and the jobs available to anybody without an education are filled by Mexicans who will work for pocket change and live 10 to a one bedroom apartment.

According to the most recent numbers on the economy, employment, trump’s latest popularity, etc. people have seen positive changes in their lives. Try and imagine how popular Bernie would be if things were waaaay down in the tank.

I cannot ever recall a politician who has shown as much energy and hard work as has Donald J Trump.

Maybe, just maybe, Governor, Senator and Politician, Huey Pearce Long. Huey was an absolute dynamo considering the distances he traveled during that era.

I don't think things are really all that much better.

Walmart has five people stocking shelves at 3AM instead of four.

McDonalds has 5% less gristle ground up in their Big Macs than they did last year.

Junkies are using their needles four times instead of six times before they break out a new one.

The average turd on a San Francisco sidewalk has increased in length from 4.5" to an even 5".

America is rapidly approaching the place where its prosperity is calculated by the length of its sidewalk turds.

Back in the 50's an American community gauged its wealth by the size of the cars in the driveways.

Today,....a community is judged by the length of its sidewalk turds.

When Bloomberg went after Bernie in the debate about his three houses and his millions, he was on the right track, but missed the point. What he should have said was how interesting it was that a guy who's never worked at anything but government jobs has those houses and all that money, since members of Congress only make chump change compared to even mid-level corporate executives.

Never concerned myself about what corporations pay their executives as long as they paid me a good wage, which they did, and a good retirement. Those who settle for schitt jobs are going to have to settle for schitt wages and benefits. The heath insurance mess, the price of higher education, and turds on the sidewalk are because of Socialism or its Liberal offspring, not that I expect the gimme gimme crowd to see or admit that. Envy and laziness are the motivation for most of the Bernie crowd; they all think there's going to be free dope and free internet, and free health care when their worthless asses get sick. Bloomberg, the little gun-grabbing control freak, is someone that ordinary Liberals and the DNC can get behind, so if Bernie starts to pull away, he'd better watch his ass, or start picking out the next house he'll want for rolling over again.

At this point, I don't see how any of them can beat Trump, but it's still a while before November. The media are doing their very best to hide the real gains made by ordinary people because of Trump's economy: higher wages, pretty much full employment, energy independence, progress in controlling illegal immigration, lower health insurance prices (still not low enough), and lower taxes for most, if not all (I broke even, but don't itemize any more). You can bet Trump will bring that up at every opportunity once this gets real.

Posted By: Rossimp Re: Bernie leading - 02/23/20
Problem with much that is said by leftist is you should hate thy neighbor because he or she has more than you. That was Obama’s go too for dividing us: “Black against White; Rich against Poor; Men against Women; Gay against Straight”. I get so tired of hearing the old crap about a CEO, golden parachutes, etc. No one knows how many hours, days and nights some CEO puts in to run a Corp that employs 100K+ employees, wow he or she may collect $10M, $20M a year with some stock options. Quite a bit of responsibility, they probably deserve it in most cases. No one says a word when an actor, sports figure or musician having really no responsibility for others makes double and triple that in a year.

Are there injustices in life, sure. Are there inequities in life, you bet. I have never been concerned about what my neighbor (meaning fellow citizens) has or makes. I just always did my best and took complete responsibility for my good and bad decisions in life. There is however mass corruption in politics. Just look at Clinton, Obama and Biden. They couldn’t rub two nickels together prior to presidency and political office now all are multi millionaires on easy street from peddling Chinese influence.

Fortunately for most of us all you really need is what’s between your two ears and the freedom to use it, anything else becomes an excuse and a blame game. We can’t be sucked into the “hate thy neighbor” mentality because success should always be rewarded in this country. Bernie Sanders is an angry sad sack of schit appealing to a majority of clods, cry babies and anarchists all of which are losers, he has no chance nationally in the electoral college and will soon be a distant memory after 2020.

The Democrat Party is in a real bind.

Their #1 guy isn't even a Democrat, he is an Independent.

Their #1 guy is a self proclaimed Socialist. All Democrats are Socialists, but you're not supposed to say it out loud, it's supposed to be their little secret. Bernie is blowing that to smithereens. If he gets the nomination the Socialist moniker will forever be attached to the Democrat Party. They simply can't allow that to happen if the Democrat Party is to survive.

Their #1 guy will have to be taken out, just as they did in 2016, but how? How are they going to cheat Bernie out of the nomination this time. Last time they just did it, because Hillary was the chosen one and they knew their voters would understand. Plus the fact that they bought Bernie a nice big Lake Home to gain his endorsement. This time it's different, there is NO Chosen one, there is no one candidate that they can push past Bernie to victory that the voters will accept and understand.

So what do they do? They can't let Bernie get the nomination. The Media smear campaign on Bernie has started and is about to escalate and become very real, very soon. The problem here is that President Trump has all but destroyed the Media's credibility and nobody really listens to their schit anyway.

Bernie does have a heart condition, right. Remember that in the coming days/weeks.

Do a research on their respective gun policies... scary. Unless you don't mind having to have a Federal registration. Then they can then charge a yearly fee. Then raise the fees. How long would you own guns if it cost you $500 per year per gun?
And if that won't work fast enough, a national tax on ammo. Or allow gun makers to be sued directly. No one sues Ford when someone crashes into them, but these folks will allow suits against gun makers.

It is his bogus stand on forgiving student loan debt. Like he could even do that.

Student loans not only affect the student..... but also the co-signing parents. A loan that cannot be defaulted.

A whole lotta otherwise normal folks would secretly pull the lever for Bernie, for a chance to wipe their stupidity in co-signing.

It would be the gift that would keep giving for Bernie. If elected, no chance at passing loan forgiveness through Congress. Bernie would just blame the evil Republicans for not passing the loan forgiveness bill.

If bernie is screwed, it will PO a lot of future "live in the basement voters". That divide will last. So the dems don't have too much choice there. It probably would be best to send bernie to the slaughter. Any alternate would also get beaten.

Right now I hope the dem destiny is written. I naturally have anxiety about the election, but I think President Trump is unbeatable.
If President Trump wins, he will take a hammer to the deep state dems.
To me it looks like the dems have hit a high water mark and President Trump will prevail. The impeachment was a losing bet.
So get out and vote, and get others registered.

And if that won't work fast enough, a national tax on ammo. Or allow gun makers to be sued directly. No one sues Ford when someone crashes into them, but these folks will allow suits against gun makers.

I've said for years,"they" will never abolish the 2A,but they will make it very expensive to be a gun owner

What ever happened to Bern's wife and the land deal she was accused of, just miraculously Feds decide not to press charges???

"When CEO's have multi million dollar golden parachutes and their workforce hasn't has a raise in 20 years,...when college educations start costing $150,000 and up,...when health insurance eats up 30% of your paycheck *if* it's even offered where you work"

What a gloomy outlook.
Or, you can do what I did, go to votech school and get a CDL, get a job driving over the road that pays $65K, and has good company medical for $50 a week, which includes eyeglass insurance. Or, even better go to votech school and get a plumber or electrician's license. Then you will make $70K and can stay at home every night.

Or, you can sit around and whine about how expensive a 4 year college degree is. And vote for Bernie, because you want the federal government to take care of you.

Let`s hope Bernie gets the Democratic nomination for president and yes its a joke, but President Trump will win again very easily .

Just as there are Democrat primary voters out there that had no clue Petie is gay........most Dems have no clue concerning their inevitable tax increases in accepting bogus climate change claims. Not to mention increased costs for most everything.

Democrat politicians are banking on ignorance being bliss.

It's not just ignorance. Denial of information and disinformation are YUGE.

I believe everyone is underestimating the appeal of Bernie to the masses.

When the government is spending 1.5 trillion more a year than its taking it in an era of record tax revenues, then many people are going to rationalize that they aren't personally seeing any of that so lets get a guy in office that will spend it on me

alot of Union people went for Trump, now Bernie is saying they should get 20% ownership of the corporation

alot of people are pissed at having to pay a crazy high deductible for health insurance, now Bernie is saying you get everything covered for $250 a month (or whatever he is saying)

we touched on student loans,Bernie is essentially saying college is just an extension of public education, instead of public education stopping at 12 years, it now goes for 16 years. You have boomers and Gen X forking over thousands and co signing loans for their kids/grandkids to go to college.

I don't think people are going to care that 1. how the government pays for it 2. whether he can actually deliver on it

and then throw in open borders - that could put put some western states in play that Trump thinks he has covered.

Now the media and DNC is trying to bring him down and we all know how people react when the Media and the party tell us who we should and shouldn't vote for.

I think Bernie is more of a threat than people realize. There are bunch of people out there that aren't going to accept status quo on health care, student debt and sadly, immigration

Bernie is going for an ‘almost’ majority of the Democrat party.....those students and parents stupid enough to sign on for a gender studies degree. Those ignorant enough to think a president can forgive these loans all by himself.

It ain’t socialism....it’s about about getting out of a con-job initiated by the federal government Democrats....ironically. The student loan program.
