I've received two of these SMS texts now:

"Hi, it's Matt with Mike Bloomberg 2020. Election Day is around the corner and we deserve a Democrat nominee that will beat Donald Trump. Can I count on you to vote for Mike?"

I've hear of others doing it and then a live person asked if not Trump, who's their #2 choice?

Unless I know who it is it is declined and blocked. Verizon supposedly put an Anti spam messaging in place.

Bloomberg is paying verizon off for this, heard that from a verizon store manager, that's why there not blocked

not surprised if that is the case. I have received very few messages since Verizon sent me a text telling me they were monitoring spam.l

They have been for weeks.

The best thing you can do is ignore it. If you respond at all it gives them a data point telling where to put their resources.

It might be a scam. My son just pointed out, "What the hell does he need money for? The guy is dumping a billion dollars of his own money in to it. He's got more money than all of us combined, and he wants people to donate to his BS."

Verizon puts a message on my screen to alert me to "potential spam" when a call comes in. Those don't get answered.

I have gotten 3 of these text wouldn’t this be the same as telemarketing in which is illegal?

I got one today asking me to support Mike. I declined. Then I called T Mobile and filed a complaint. They said it was illegal and they would report the number. You have to be on the do not call list for it to be illegal though.

I’ve gotten them from Bloomberg and Warren.

I don't know they called me. They asked me if there were any chance I could be convinced to vote for a democrat. I told them "yes, just as soon as hell freezes over".

And Matt w/ Bloombitch might be just as valid as those three calls I got this week about fraudulent activity on my SS #. If I call back to this number right away, perhaps they can head off the US Marshals headed for my house.

Heck, I think this is wonderful! I mean, his adds are already making tv news unwatchable. Can’t imagine that anybody’s happy about being bombarded with adds, most of which have no message other than “orange man bad”! He’s got nothing positive, and even less personality.
Why not let him spend another few million bucks on cell numbers to further alienate and cheese off potential voters? Makes you wonder how a person can have billions, and yet still be dumber than a hay rake in a cornfield.
