I have heard of using a level to plumb a 22 rifle, and shooting a hole to mark a plumb chimney.

I carried a 24 ounce bob on my hip for many years. That would be a bit light.

Youngster, take my advice, don't be foolin' with stuff with strings attached. Foucault's Pendulum may have killed him..he ain't around any more anyways.

I used a caulk line because we went up to 25’

Also a braided works better than a twisted line

Might have to make one out of a 50 cal

If you gonna make one, do it right and use 50BMG. Harder to lose too.
