Stopped by the Thornton store tonight.

Completely out of 9mm and .223 Ammo.

Only small rifle primers in stock were CCI Br-4 at $47.00 per hundred.

They actually had Fed-215!! First time I've seen them in years.

There was a line at the counter, gun sales were brisk.
$47.00 per hundred?
Was at the one in Colo Springs this afternoon. No Rem 7.5 primers.

Thousand I’m sure
I asked an employee if Sportsman’s was getting out of the reloading business, since they hadn’t had a restock of primers, bullets or powder for about 2 months. He said not to his knowledge, but they hadn’t gotten anything in for a while. Their stock of reloading items was pathetic. I started shopping at Murdoch’s and Bob Wards.

Correct.

Thanks
Those with the most lead will own the toilet paper.

Sounds like the same issue the Sportsmans Warehouse in Round Rock, Tx had. Seemed the shelves were not being restocked and then they closed up and left. Really enjoyed that store. Wish it was still around.

I didn’t know there is a store in Round Rock. I hunt in Burnet County, close to Lake Buchanan
I used to be the firearms manager at the Sportsmans Warehouse store in Allen Park, MI back in 2009. They closed when they went into bankruptcy. We just recently had a new SW open in the area so I visited it. It didn't seem to have the same "feel" as the stores did back then. Prices didn't seem as good. Did anyone else notice any difference?
They have a Sportsman warehouse in Altoona PA. It is a "converted" field and stream. I went in a couple times, and it was just a field and stream, same products, same structure. Prices were high, and quality was low. I saw a flier with sales, and nothing impressed me.
And yet I just got a multi-page flyer for their Spring Shooting Sale.

Why a chain would have a shooting/gun sale in Spring is a bit beyond me, but there ya go.
I’ll trade three rolls of two ply toilet paper for a brick of Federal 215.
Same in Fresno, Ca for smokeless powder. Employee said they're looking for a new supplier. I got the last pound of AA 2230.
I’m off to SW to buy up all the camo tp!
