Gas Buddy is showing a running average price of $1.76 a gallon for 87 octane over twenty locations in a nearby town with a low of $1.72 at one and a high of $1.79 at another.

As of last night, they hadn't dropped here yet...still in the $2.15+/- range....been waiting for the big drop.
HA!
Our local pumps are still at $3.00. Thanks Olympia or better yet his highness Inslee.
Still 2.12 down at the Habib and Steve’s Tank & Tummy.

On a good note, the kerosene this week is only 25% water.
2.42 here at the Sheetz. Coffee 1.49 small.
Filled up at $2.19 this AM.....
Ain’t going done here, maybe a couple pennies!
I filled up in Pikeville yesterday @$2.01.
Enjoy lower prices while you can.

When this passes, and the price of oil starts to go up again, what took months to show up as reduction in prices at the pump will be raised back or higher, in about 15 minutes.
How quickly does it pass through?
I expect that the closer that you are to Cushing, OK, or another terminal town the faster you will see a response.
A little less than a month ago crude was $53/ barrel. Yesterday it closed around $32.99.

That is only about $0.30 /gal before refining and transport costs.
Was down to $1.98 for a few days then ZOOM back up to $2.19.
We are/were driving interstates back home, up from Florida.

Always more expensive along those routes. Cheapest last night was $1.89.

Went right through Tennessee. Didn’t see many road kill ‘possums. Those must end up in the cook pot pretty quick.

Lots of stations under $2. Filled this morning $1.94 in Missouri, on 61 north.
Fuel distributors and the State don't have to worry about falling Fuel prices on the West Coast...

They just all keep the pump prices wound up, and they make more money, and evidently split the increase with the states ran by .democRATS... bet the increase profits end up in the democRAT Party's re election funds....

and Oregon doesn't have a Governor any more... it has been put on hold until Kate Brown's time is done..
She has just declared herself as Queen... she sees that as more fitting to her egotistical status, she thinks she deserves..
and it allows her to do whatever she wants, regardless of what the voters think in this state...

I wish she'd do a Paul Wellstone exit, but then we have more Communist Globalist DemocRATS ready to take her place..

women shouldn't be elected to a gubernatorial post...the office's power goes to their head faster than power does to an African dictator....

yea.....Utah first to raise it & last to lower it........

$2.48 reg last I looked

2.29 at Sheetz in Altoona yesterday.
$1.92 here. Dropped from $1.99 last week. I see a range of $1.92-$2.29 while driving around locally.

Rob
Just bought some for 1.95. It's still around 2.04 to 2.10 in most places here. Henderson KY, about an hour from me is in the 1.75 range.

We're WAY slower than that here in far remote NorCal.

$3.749 cash price at the Cheap Station in town. Chevron usually a good $0.10 higher, sometimes $0.15.

Rez station 5 miles out of town is about $0.40 a gallon less. You folks know I like to help out my Red cuzzins, right?

Geno
pretty soon after you fill your tank instead of paying 50 bucks, they'll be giving you 50 bucks
Paid $1.97 yesterday in N. Alabama. Hopefully it will go even lower!
$1.89 here in SW MI..
I just filled up with the middle grade gas and it was 2.40 a gal.

I won't buy the lower grade because the mileage sucks.
If it makes you guys feel better, after I do the metric to imperial & currency CAD$ - USD$ conversions, we are paying nearly $3.50USD / USG !
I got gas today at Sam’s Club at $1.88 a gallon. Sad news I filled up the other day and could only squeeze $10.19 in.
Production is going to slow. Refinery expansions are being suspended and layoffs are happening now.

Layoffs started in W.Texas/N.M. immediately after oil got below $40...

They will even cut production now. Shut those pump jacks off.
1.99 in tidewater, VA yesterday. It has been years since I got it for that. We were at $3.89 under O'Numbnuts.
$1.63 here today
Our gas hasn’t dropped 2cents in over a month $2.09
Still $2.69 here, same as the last four months

You may be right but I don't think so on shutting in production. They need cash flow like everyone else. Drilling always shuts down first, then completions, etc, not current production.
We're down to $2.19 here at the cheapest no-brand station. Of course, it would be below $2.00 if the scumbag politicians here hadn't given themselves a $.25/ gallon tax increase.
Buddy called me today as he was passing through OK. Saw gas for $1.55.
In NW Montana, we are still at 234 for 87 and 253 for number two diesel. Been about ten cents in variation since it fell about 30 cents.

That's been the case for about six months now, normally diesel is about 50 cents more than regular. But there's no downward drop of any significance. Yet. Oh, but when it does drop, it will be slow, slow slow, and then, when the world stops freaking out, it will rise minutes behind the futures.
Non-ethanol went up 15 cents here

Usually yes.

But I heard some brass saying they would shut it off in some areas before giving it away...

Seen some rare instances where that's happened before.
Just saw 1.99 in a Denver suburb. Most places I saw were under 2.10.
1.83 today in Shawnee Ok
Couple places NW of Rochester NY were at 2.29 today. Local TV station has a fuel finder on the news for about 10 seconds and they were showing some 2.14 & 15 stuff in the Rochester area.
2.69 in my hometown.
Bending us over here.
Lowest I've seen is 2.31
Filled up this morning at $2.02. I'll take it. Came home it was $1.99.

Ironically I parked my truck and bought a car for mileage. Now prices drop...lol

Wont last for long but I'll take it while it lasts.
I filled up this morning for $1.94 a gallon
Gasbuddy says it's $1.86 in the big city. Still over $2.00 in the smaller towns.
We are still well over $4.00/gal. Price drops are non-existent in the Alaska bush.

That’s what I filled up for here in N TX here this AM too.

Just wait till the idiot panic buyers start hoarding gas because of the corona virus. 😡
It hasn't budged at all here in NW NV.

3.15/diesel and 2.95/gasoline here today.

Still worth it!

Just goes to show you the value of taxes.
Gas in AK cheaper than in Cali where they can truck it up from the refineries in the Bay Area.

Last I checked, you folks up there are a bit further away than us.

$3.39 on the Rez tonight.

Geno
Geno
The crude is pumped 11 miles off shore here and refined 11 miles up the road!

It has to be piped to Anch and it still cheaper there!

Don't get me started. smile
Crap, I knew y'all pumped crude, didn't know there was a refinery there.

I experienced the same thing in Rural PA. Refinery in our town, company owned the local convenience/gas stations. One was honest to goodness right outside the refinery gate. I drove 80 miles to an archery event a few towns over and gas was cheaper there than in front of the refinery. That truck must have been making gasoline for them as it was driven.

Geno
Filled up at Sam's Club Tuesday for $1.789 - 87 octane.

Gas Taxes By State 2020
$1.39 outside of Lafayette, La on 03-19-20
Topped off at $1.60 today. I don't think I've seen it that low in many decades.

That’s insane! I just filled up this evening about 5-6 miles west of Nola for $2.05!
If I remember correctly...dyed #2 diesel was $1.89, highway #1 was $2.81

Cheap gas is $2.30.
Our gas prices should have not moved... Keep the fracking going, keep the frackers in a job, and bank the cheap Saudi stuff for the next war.

g
Not an oil guy, but I assume we're topping off those reserves at a bargain price.
Today the lowest gas here was 2.35 at Costco. I saw some diesel for 2.85. Most stations have diesel for over 3.00. What I needed was non-al gas for all of my toys. There are only a couple stations here who sell it. One was 3.85. Yes, 3.85. The other was a 'mere' 3.02.

Over the past 10 -12 hours here a low of $1.25 at one location to a high of $1.59 at another with the rest mostly priced in the $1.3X a gallon range.
They are keeping it at between $2.80 to like $3.15 or so locally... some places cheaper....

cheapest local place is the Indian Casino in Canyonville at $2.39...

Last I heard is the barrel price was under $21.00 a barrel...

it drops like a parachute in slow motion, yet goes up in price like a V 2 Rocket...
Checked prices yesterday on the internet and London KY had some for .99. Don't know if it was some kind of promotion or what, but that's nice. Around here it's not dropped like it has in other places, with most still around 1.85. Now, that was yesterday, it could change today. I buy my farm diesel from Southern States Co-op. A good friend of mine drives one of their delivery trucks, and will always bring me any amount I want, even if it's just to top off the tank. I'll probably top off my tanks here, but would like to see if it's going to drop any more. Diesel prices aren't going down as fast as gasoline is.
Filled up for 1.42 the other. This tank should last a long time
Paid 2.25 for diesel yesterday

$2.43 for reg gas here
1.379 in Delcambre, LA

Westbank side....Westwego. Maybe I should’ve said southwest lol
1.50 for regular unleaded here!
Still 2.39 here in Ogden. Only down four cents since a month ago. I'm holding off my next fillup until it crashes. (Pretty easy to do under stay home suggestions.)
paid 2.19 for diesel yesterday.
I guessed wrong on buying farm fuel. We prepaid at the end of the year. Who knew?

Should be able to buy a 2nd tank, fill it, dollar-cost-average, and the tank pays for itself.
We have two 500 gallon tanks. Plenty for the size of this farm.

The break in corn, soybean, and cattle prices are worse than the small amount we wasted, as it turns out.

They used to say, the only sure things were death, and taxes.

Deferring taxes, are we?

Farmers here do the same thing with chemical.

And seed, and pickups, and tractors, and combines, and storage bins, and semi-trucks, and tillage implements, and, and, and...................
Well we have the privilege of having some of the worst roads in the country along with the highest gas tax (that was supposed to go to fixing those roads), we're still at $2.20. Thanks so much Gov. Wolf! (D)
But I guess that goes with being in one of the most corrupt areas. Judges, county commissioners, mayors, state senators, you name it we got'em either in jail or on their way. And that's just recent history in the past few years.
Thank you sir may I have another!
Wife said it is 1.99 here. PA has the highest tax at the pump in the country I am told. Funds used for road work, so lots of guys needed to run one shovel.
I may venture out of the house today to take the dogs up in the forest, so I'll top it off. Working from home now.
I live 40 miles round trip from my work, and I love to drive around but that stuff is on hold. First time ever that I use less than a tank in a week in my 4Runner.
I just looked, in Dryden, Ontario, Canada, it's $1.04 Ca. per liter. The Canadians that heat with oil pay dearly.
$1.79gal at the corner store.
Don't need any, but just checked GasBuddy - $1.89-1.93 here right now.
Still pushing $3 last I looked here.
$0.99 here

Yeah we were served up that schit sandwich in CA and the fools/liberals all signed on to it, roads haven't changed a bit. 3.08 for reg last time I looked.

Prices so far today here over 24 locations per GasBuddy is lowest $1.06, $1.08, $1.09, with $1.19 being the average and the highest $1.39 per gallon 87 octane.
Palm Springs.
Regular 2.69
Diesel 3.09
Still over $3.00 a gallon here. So much for price gouging.
