Don’t rub it in too much.
Red skies at night, sailor's delight

Yeah. Been pretty much closer to a normal winter than in a number of years. Winter just came late here - not until New Years. Below normal temps since.
Forecast has a nice warmup next week though!
How many minutes of light are you gaining every day now, about 8 or 9?
I'm just happy I don't have to turn on outside lights until 7:30 or so here.

For Anchorage:
A little less down here. A bit more up in da 'banks.
As you can see, I missed peak shunset. I was busy checking my steak on the grill!
Loved this time of the year the one spring I was in Juneau.
I could start turning off the full spectrum bulb in my desk lamp at work and just use the light coming in the window!
And walk to work in daylight, and home too.

Yup. Glorious time o'year!
Blow going up north. First of the winter like this. Went from negatory 35 this morning to about positively 20 this afternoon. About 20mph now with 50+ expected through Saturday. We'll see. On weather standby, sitting.
Just another day in paradise..
Amazing how Gods painting of the sky changes for us every day.
Huh. And here I thought it was changing sun angle and atmosphere.
Oils or water colors, Jag?
My wife is in Barrow right now. Wicked fog and snowstorm, planes turned around and went right back to ANC without landing.
Hope to get her home by Sat am safe and sound.
I believe you mean Utquiavik.
Hope all goes well, as it will.
I get those skies in the morning, Mike.
I ain't never calling Barrow anything but Barrow. That was the name it had when I lived there, and that is what it will always be.
Even if I could pronounce the other one, I would not.

+1...most of wife's Eskimo clientele still say Barrow as well.
