"Mars", Milton, I never heard anyone call him anything but Mars. 95
Mars was a WW2 vet, he arrived in Germany just after it was over.
A man, and a half.
95 is a good run,
sorry for the loss of your friend
Mars liked fishing in Ontario, he could dance, sing. A hard worker, farmer, IH machinery dealer, when IH folded he went into a Chevy dealership.
He had been in fading health for some time. Not many of that generation left.
Thoughts and prayers for those he left behind.
God Bless the Great Warrior.
RIP Mars.
RIP Mars ...
Wabigoon , true not many in that generation left , time marches on , take care .
Wabigoon: Sorry to hear of the passing of your family friend. I am happy though that he lived so long.
He earned that.
I have thanked him for his service and I pray he will rest in peace forever.
Hold into the wind
