The super moon is high in the southwest, and Jupiter and Saturn have cleared the mountaintop, with Mars soon to follow. It's 47 degrees, headed for the mid-60s, and I'm drinking coffee.

Good morning gentlemen. I was able to view the super moon rising last night but due to clouds this morning, the planets are not viewable. I'm cleaning up a stash of coffee beans I ran onto and am enjoying cup #1 in the quiet silence of my home. My wife is still sleeping.
Just before sunrise is my favorite time of day.

Nice and clear here. I could sit outside and read by moonlight but it's too far from the coffee pot.

This might be my first "short sleeves" golf day this year. It's been long sleeves, sweater, and windbreaker weather so far.

It was clear this morning at 5:30 when I was out with the dog. Full moon and all three planets. Venus was quite bright last night in the south as well.

Looking at that makes us feel very small in the grand scheme.

Clear skies here. Eating Cheerios with sliced banana - no coffee.

Now 6 a.m. and Mars is clear. Moon with binos is INCREDIBLE.

On my final cuppa of the morning, thinking about a bowl of cereal for today's light breakfast.

High overcast this morning hid the stars, moonlight sure was bright tho.

I just finished my home made yogurt with blueberries and a cup o fresh dark roast coffee.
Now settling down to check the Fire and a few other forums while this second cup goes down.

There were some impressive thunderstorms that swept through last night. The lightening was non-stop during the entire time the storm took to pass through. Pea sized hail fell for a while but nothing damaging.

Wabi gets all the credit. I'm always up early and would reply to his wakeup call. One day he didn't, so I did. And that's how we kinda, sorta started alternating.

These threads never turn into fights.

No idea what it was doing at 5:00 AM this morning as I was sound asleep!

Its springtime here in OK and storms are always expected. We've only had 8 tornadoes this year, so far but April & May are when we get the big ones and normally lots of them.

That was yesterday's thread, and it was 5 a.m. in Utah when I typed it - and 6 a.m in Iowa, 7 a.m in Kentucky...

Was up at 5 again today - see the WINDY Morning thread.

Utah sees about one weak tornado a year. Our mountains prevent their formation.

Had a nice wall of that wx from Ohio roll through here this am and just fog and a little drizzle.

Emergency delivery yesterday so all set. Working at home I noted (1) Lots less laundry, (2) Lots more dishes and trash (3) Lots more coffee since I usually wait for the first cup at the office.
