Sadly today the Governor of Montana mandated that the Spring Bear Hunting season and the Spring Wild Turkey seasons be closed to non-resident Hunters until at least April 24th!
Sad this.
I saw the stories on the local news and in one print source.

I am bummed for those planning to come to Montana and Hunt this spring.
The closure is further ruining more now as the previous order that was put into effect a while back was that visitors from out of state had to stay in quarantine for 14 days before they could further travel about.
I'll try to get a link or two for those interested.
Darn feel bad.

Well, shucks.
I was hoping the two closed seasons were going to be Summer and Fall.

I heard talk that paddle fishing closed on the lower MT Missouri but remains open on the upper.

What I can't understand is MI will not allow WI residents to hunt coyotes and vice versa. Covid or not.

I contacted both DNR offices and they said it had to do with beefs with the other offices.

WTF - that seems stupid.
