I’ve been watching this TV show lately at night on Dish. Pretty predictable acting but entertaining. Good scenery with Heather Locklear. I’m wondering what model S&W does Hooker use? I’m thinking a 28. I wish I could shoot as well as he does with it. I like looking at the older vehicles from the late 70’s and early 80’s on the show as well. Kinda a flash back to my youth.

Not sure I’ve seen it.

Good as Rockford Files?

Although I wrote for T.J. Hooker, I wasn't on the set when they were filming so I don't know what revolver Shatner carried. What the prop department had for him probably as that's the way it was done.

T.J. Hooker was a uniformed police (LAPD) show whereas Rockford Files was a private eye show. Big difference. I've written for other private eye shows but never wrote for Rockford Files.

Shatner's wig was massive in that series.

IMFDB-internet movie firearm data base says in the premier Hooker had a S&W M15. Seasons 1 & 2 he used a Colt Trooper MKIII.

My favorite Shatner scene.

Hell, I thought Heather Locklear was the only person on that show.

One of my buddies had a class with Heather Locklear when they were both Freshman at UCLA. She was taking classes, modeling, and had a few TV gigs on the side, I think he said she'd appeared on CHiPs during that time. 1979-1980ish.

He says that she was so stupendously gorgeous in those days that when she entered the classrooms, even the girls stared at her. Said in real life she was on the thin side, but had that Farrah Fawcett hair, killer figure, and 1000 watt smile.

Said she was really nice, but he could hardly carry on a conversation with her without being intimidated by her good looks or his momentary lack of blood to his brain. smile

My favorite Shatner scene.

An even better one has since been removed by youtube (last I checked).

He is sitting at his desk in the law office and removes all the weapons on his person. grin

It was OK. Worth watching because of Heather Locklear. 🤠

Rockford Files was much better, IMO. One of my favorites.

I was always intrigued on how his car sounded. I realized one day that I could flip the breather lid over on my dad's 76 chevy pickup with a 350 and it made the same noise.

Baretta used to do that across pool tables, hoods, whatever was available.

Yep. Made those old 350 Chevy small blocks with the Quadrajet 4 barrel carb sound faster. 😜

HL was a year ahead of my brother in HS....She was a pain in the ass head case (though attractive) and she hasn't changed.

No, I never pitched them a story. Thought of one that might have worked but used it on another show.

I’ve always liked Shatner. He was good in the parts he played.

Everyone gets all worked up about looks. Like I tell women, obedience is the sexiest thing going.

Adrian zmed looked pretty good too. He probably spent a lot of time in the gym
