The coronavirus, shutdowns, and our federal government's response has laid bare the biggest problem we have as a nation.
And that is, while the federal government prints money and makes plans to print more, states, municipalities, tribes, race-based organizations, trade organizations and advocacy groups seem interested in one thing---making the case that they're particularly hard-hit and lining up to get their "fair share."
Not many are asking "how the f*ck are we going to pay for this," or "how will this affect us long-term."
Oil up the printing press, and shift to a higher gear.
Get your name on some real estate, pay it off with cheaper dollars, or sell at a higher price.
That is a problem, but it isn’t a primary cause to be fixed. The fact that a private organization exists to execute such absurd monetary policy isn’t quite a primary cause but it can be easily fixed.
"Never let a good crisis go to waste".
As we stand now, we are a relief-based society. Worker bees are, at best, second level consideration and not nearly as important as recipient voters.
The recipient class always drives the request for more.
Givers need to watch what they give, because the takers don't!
Gov of Co yesterday on TV with Trump only wants a measly $ trillion for his dimocommie dopeheads.

Hey, dont you be looking at the boxes of $4.50 sugared corn flakes, Gatorade, OJ, steaks, shrimp, oysters, etc bought on the Lone Star Card.
Dats racialista.
We will pay via inflation.

Please Jag , we Coloradans are embarrassed enough about our "semen friendly" governor.
calling attention to the fact only depresses us more.
i can finally understand what it feels like to be a conservative in CA.

That's not a problem that's limited to the U.S. but rather humans in general, the vast majority of people are concerned with their own personal well being rather than what's good for the whole particularly if they think they can get something for nothing
What we should be working on are ways to make our supply chains for essential items like food, power, medicine, more flexible to meet changing points of demand, and less dependant on foreign countries.
It's also a huge mistake to let foreign entities own and control our food supply chain, ala Smithfield being owned by the Chinese.
Inflation is going to be brutal at some point.
ONLY way to pay. Or cancel it and go to war over it.
We pay the way we always have...world war
I keep hearing about MMT.
Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) is a heterodox macroeconomic framework that says monetarily sovereign countries like the U.S., U.K., Japan and Canada are not operationally constrained by revenues when it comes to federal government spending. In other words, such governments do not need taxes or borrowing for spending since they can print as much as they need and are the monopoly issuers of the currency.

Dems are looking this as a way to break the bank. Ruin social security, Medicare and Medicaid. Vets won’t get a dime from a broke government either. All about controlling us all.
The government doesn't print any money.

It's not just Colorado. Unless you're saying Texas is gonna refuse federal aid??

Neither.
There’ll be a worldwide monetary reset by the G 8 Nations with debts forgiven and wiped off of the books.

MMT is simply rubbish. If it weren't, the government could merely pay every American $1,000,000 with no consequences except everyone would be a millionaire.
If this keeps up, that's where we're headed. With $100K hamburgers.
Please stop being so anti-Semitic.
