Guys my wife is going in to have her right eye removed Friday. It's been a 2 year battle with first steroids all the way up to injections straight into the eye. Nothing has helped. The Dr. said if we don't remove it...it could infect the other eye and then she would be totally blind. Guys her name is Lana and she's only 49. I'm more than a little disconcerted but I refuse to fear. She will have the surgery around noon tomorrow so when you get up tomorrow and see this... please help her out w/some prayer. My father lost his left eye before I remember him having both eyes. He farmed, and drove for forty years after that.
After my mother died, he drove the 700 plus mile drive to Wabigoon, Ontario alone many times.
He was very careful about the one eye he had left.

Sorry to hear about Lana's eye troubles. I get injection(s) in my eye every 4-6 weeks.
I hope the operation goes well and is a success in keeping her other eye.
