High Brass is the only one who beat me in the .22LR contest at Mike’s (6mm250) house. He could definitely shoot. Losing to him wasn’t that bad to me because he was a jarhead too. If he was a dogface or squid, that would have been unacceptable.

Raising my glass in honor of High Brass and to the many other warriors that are suffering in silence. My prayers go out to those that loved him as well as all the loved ones that are left with the emptiness of such a tremendous loss, a loss that will forever be an unwanted companion.

From what I know of Dave and his wonderful family, their loss has transformed them into a strong and compassionate force for good. The strength that is bestowed upon the believers by our Lord and Savior has become the instrument by which they reach out to help others with their struggles so that if even 1 family is spared the pain that Dave and his family have suffered they can rest easy knowing that none of it was done in vain

May God continue to be with Dave and his family, especially his daughter in law.
