It's a Ford 20' cargo van loaded with apprx. 2500# and it'll be pulling a 3900lb. vehicle on a car hauler trailer .

Uhaul says 10mpg so that's likely under best conditions , anybody used one of these and know what the real world mileage ballpark] would be under the conditions mentioned ?

Gasoline engine/auto trans. , looks fairly new .
Back in 2003 when I moved I rented a 17 foot Uhaul with the V10. Wasn't pulling anything but loaded pretty good. Pretty stiff winds. I was driving 65 to 70. Got about 7mpg. Thought it was pretty good all things considered.

Agree especially at those speeds .
seem then in the 7 mpg average range..

seen them as low as 4 mpg, west bound over the Rockies from the Dakotas....loaded...
We rented one for an 8 person vacation trip one time and it got 6-7 mpg which we expected. We hated driving it though because a cross wind made it very difficult to stay in your lane.
That’s a lot of pot
Thanks you'all .
