I think you're probably right about the other states. For those who like that sort of climate, the Dakotas would be a safe bet.

The city data page says that the Minneapolis/St Paul area is about 18.5% black.

Apparently, the threshold for quantity of blacks necessary to destroy a city has dropped below 20%.

I wonder how low it will go?

Will cities soon not be able to survive a 10% black population?

I'd guess that housing prices are going to rise in Cedar Rapids Iowa. It's already growing pretty fast. Probably as a result of people fleeing the big liberal schitthole cities that are close to it.

Unfortunately, Idaho seems to be getting more than it's fair share. Housing has skyrocketed the last couple years.

They're all headed for Rural Kentucky.

Idaho is getting the Californians. I think the white flight out of Minneapolis/St Paul will make an attempt to stay closer to home than Idaho.

It will be interesting to watch the decline of Minneapolis/St Paul. If the police had gone in and shut the rioting down, the city would have had a chance to survive. But the police have been shut down.

Cities never recover from that.

This should be an eye opening experience for the "brains turned to schitt" crowd. A city with only 18% blacks was destroyed because of the hard left policies of its leadership.

The libs in Charlotte revel and embellish that they purposely live in close proximity to the blacks. There is this new trend in yuppie urbanites restoring old homes on the edge of the black communities. Gonna be real fun for them when the crap hits the fan some day. They will wish they lived among us rednecks at that point.

The same thing happened in Cleveland, Ohio. First the blacks moved into some formerly white neighborhoods. The crime skyrocketed. Then there was a race riot. Finally there was court-ordered forced bussing, which was supposed to "integrate" all the schools (it didn't).

To stem the flight of whites, the city passed a law that all city employees had to live in the city. After a few years the courts threw it out.

Housing values deteriorated, of course. I know guys who couldn't move because their houses were underwater. Services were cut. If you called the cops, they didn't show up.

The population of Cleveland is just over 1/3 of what it was in the 1950 census. It went from the sixth largest city in the USA to the third largest in Ohio.

So where did they go? Mostly to the outer suburbs. Many decent blacks moved too. Curiously,, the blacks and the whites tended, mostly, to move to different suburbs.

I am personally responsible for moving 400 manufacturing jobs out of the city. Not to Idaho, the South, Florida, or China. We stayed in the same county. I was amazed at how productivity improved and how much easier it was to hire employees.

Incidentally, I grew up in a city called East Cleveland, Ohio. It had 38,000 people. Now it has 18,000. My high school was ranked third best in the state. Last year it ranked 607 out of 608.

Funny how all those liberal run cities all go down the toilet. But it's always the fault of someone and/or something else.

The most glaring example of what happens due to white flight is Cairo, Illinois. It was never a big city, but it had long been a thriving small town. Race problems kicked up, blacks started burning homes and businesses, and the white people just left.

Now the place is a virtual ghost town. There's still about 1500 people kicking around there. But there's nothing there. Not even a grocery store.

For some reason a bank keeps a small branch there. But in 2014 a black man robbed it and stabbed two white women to death who worked there.

I’m going to be stupidly hopeful and put out the possibility that this nonsense may turn MN red and the twin cities purple. If so, the out migration may not be that bad. Realistically, they will go either warm (AZ) or close to their roots where they can find jobs - Outlying MN, ND, SD, WI, IA.

There doesn't seem to be anyplace to "migrate" to. Every state has their pluses and minuses.
