Just that, for me, it's good family, a great wife, when things go well on the farm. Most of all, the Love Jesus shows for all of us.
Much more of course.
Let's try to keep it clean, this could be a family site.
Besides my faith in God, my family and kids- Grandkids.
I love to hunt sheep, rope steers and ride our colts.
I am always fixing something on the farm and I don't have a passion for dirt farming, I do for the Ranching side of it. If I can do it horseback I will. God Bless.
Thanks, Comerade. Fresh bread straight from the oven, butter melting on a slice.
We have 100acres of family land. I love watching my 9yo daughter grow on it. She's learning so much about nature it's amazing. She works the tractor, log splitter and she's learning our mini excavator. She's learning to follow sign and she has a keen eye to see deer. Better than my eyesight.
Just like all of our young kids, she's our future.
Great Wifey, great kids and grandkids. I’ve been blessed
The sounds of my kids playing happily together. I’ll miss it when they are older and I plan to savor it now.
My grandson. A day on a trout stream. Having a meal or drinks with people I love. A limit of dove. A crisp fall morning. Following my dog hunting pheasant or quail. The sound of men's voices around a campfire. The way my place looks after I finish mowing. The way coffee tastes in deer camp. A good shot. Cutting and splitting firewood. A beautiful woman. Reading a good book on a cold rainy day.
Grandson Aaron.
Peace with God makes me happy. It paves the way to peace with myself...and equips me to make peace with others.
A kiss from my wife. Seeing my students graduate. 5 lb trout. 2 lb sunfish. Mule deer. Elk. Pronghorns. Knowing Hillary Clinton will never be president.
Fresh D cell batteries in my old school ronco pocket pussy.
Laughing at the sheeple on this forum while watching the dang left wing commie thugs put their money where their mouth is.
Great Wifey, great kids and grandkids. I’ve been blessed
Thumbs up!
This guy John who championed communism used to say "a warm gun"...
Or was that Paul?...
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
A clean, loving woman, fried venison or fish, good wine, friends.
Grandson Aaron.
Great pic, Wabi.
When my wife hears me turn the shower off, she’ll come and hand me a towel. Not sure why that makes me happy, but it does.
That, and rimfires.

You are wise to enjoy the little things, one day you’ll likely look back and realize they were the big things.
shocker
If I wake up alive in the morning I figure I'm a winner already..

A day spent exploring new ground in the mountains. Imagining all the big bucks I'm gunna kill there! LOL.
People that fix what I break.
Riding on the UTV with Gwen and the dogs on the back roads around the farm with a few cold coors lights a 22 magnum and country gold Saturday night on the radio. Simple and relaxing. life dont get much better
Awesome. Little things matter.
I’m happy that today, we had our first church service since this quarantine crap started. I can tell you.....we were a grateful bunch!
lmao
Nuthin’ like drinkin’ wine out of plastic cups. 👊🏻 The ability to simplify is tantamount.
My family, my home, the outdoors, and my guns.
I am pretty easy to please.
lmao

That was at the end of a long bike ride out to the bay with the kids. Little wine cheese and snacks was right on time
...wine, cheese and snacks was right on time.
Anytime I’ve ‘ever’ had wine, cheese and snacks it was “right on time”...! lol
Sounds and looks like good time spent. Nic pics too.
Family obviously but lots of good memories as well.
Awesome. Little things matter.
Couldn't agree more!
Rimfires
BIG tits
BIG guns
BIG bank account...
You can't buy happiness, but you can rent it...

When I'm on the bike, the smile rarely leaves my face... But my son's dedication to his grandfather's tractor that he had restored two years ago makes the smile the widest... What a kid....
Time spent with family and friends. Quiet evening at deer camp with a good fire in the stove, and a good adult beverage. The smell of Hoppe's No. 9 as I wipe down the guns. The little chickadees that always find me when I'm on stand deer hunting. I've had them land on my gun barrel and the brim of my hat more than once. The rythmical thump of a good gun dog's tail against a chair when she know's we're going hunting shortly. Pulling out old pictures from days gone by and reliving the memories of hunting with my dad.
I'm a simple man. It doesn't take much to make me happy.
The things that seem to make me the happiest (in no particular order)
1) The first pull of Scotch on Opening Day Eve in the Thoughtful Spot at Camp. This is closely followed by hearing the last shot of The Opener, delivered at about the same time 24hours later, when I'm back in the Thoughtful Spot.
2) The silence that happens between shooting a gobbler and realizing it is time to get up and retrieve the carcass.
3) Hearing one of my sons say something intelligent and wise.
4) Hearing my granddaughter tell me that hunting is her favorite thing in the world.
5) Sitting down to a good plate of fried chicken from a place I've just discovered.
6) KYHillChick telling me, "You've done good there, husband!"
7) When dogs roll over on me and ask to have their belly scratched.
Had grandson yesterday, he makes us laugh
Wabigoon: I have to be blessed to have so much happiness and tranquility in my life.
My healthy and caring family tops the list of my "happinesses"!
Enjoying ALL of my outdoor activities and hobbies gives me so much pleasure and happiness these days.
Topping the list there is my enjoyment in Hunting, year round - followed by my "innate" (present from birth - I am sure!) desire to, and satisfaction from, "gun collecting/shooting"!
I am also repeatedly made happy by our pro-American President Donald J, Trump.
GO TRUMP

Hold into the wind
