Penny showed me a photo on Facebook of a monument with a mounted officer on top covered in graffiti. The post on FB says Gettysburg, but to my knowledge there are only two Confederate Monuments with mounted officers, the Virginia Memorial and the Longstreet Statue.
I told her if that’s at Gettysburg it’s gotta be a Federal Officer, which makes no sense. (Not that any of this crap makes sense)
Anybody heard anything? I heard rumors a year or two ago about thugs targeting confederate monuments down there, but never heard anything about any vandalism.
