I never knowd my Daddy!!!
In the mid 70s, about 24% of black children were born to unwed mothers. That is ~77% today. While black men have in the US have never been particularly fond of fatherhood, that rise is not wildly out of sync with rise of the same among Whites (3% to ~30%).

Single motherhood rates are rising across all ethnic groups in the US, and higher for mothers born in the US versus immigrants regardless of ethnicity.

What is being done to people in the US, and (((who))) is doing it?

Good post, Tyrone.

Quite a perspective!
This once great nation NEEDS, badly to get back to God!
Take away the rights of women to work and vote and this may change.

The CDC mostly. They are a bit out of date...births to single mothers have dropped some in the last few years along with overall birth rates.

Here is a 2018 summary

The chart below uses 2015 CDC data.

And this one shows some historical rates, mostly CDC data the NCHS used.

While I do not doubt the stats as listed. It is as much genetic as it is behavioral. Take all those kids from the fatherless homes and adopt them into loving supportive families, and the stats would still lean toward criminal behavior, albeit not as strongly.

Low IQ and mental illness are inheritable traits.

Thanks Stick.

Tells a story of our society and where it’s headed beyond where we presently are.

Almost “exponential “.

Just to put this data in perspective, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, the liberal Democrat who held one of New York's U.S. Senate seats (the one Hillary was elected to after he retired) wrote a paper while he was serving in the Nixon administration, in which he the black family as being in crisis because the illegitimacy rate in black families had risen to 23%. All three major ethnic groups in this country now exceed that number and two of the three more than double it.

Do you think that the absence of stable families in all of these communities might just explain a lot of the dysfunction we see in the socio-economic groups about whom this statistic applies?
