My wife and I celebrate our Gold Anniversary today, seems like another lifetime ..Having recently returned from my SEA deployment this was a special day at our home church especially having my Dad conduct the ceremony...Yes I'm a PK

I tell everyone I want to live to 114 so we can celebrate our 50th.

You best us by three weeks, Flem. Our 50th would have been next week, but we had to postpone because I couldn't get leave from pilot training. So we got married on July 4. I'll bet that you two are like us: cannot imagine where 50 years went, except that it went by in tenderness, understanding, and love.

so guess June 1970 was a good month for both of us... but yours was better

Ya think, ... it was wider than that during my Vietnam tour,flight crews seemed to be immune to dress regs in those days..

i look at pics from when i was in early 80's and when i chose to wear a stache it looked like i was trying out for a hitler part.
