My main hunting partner and I took my 13yo daughter out for an afternoon fishing trip.

It was windy and rainy as hell, but she was game and we managed to bring a few into the net before turning them loose. She wasn’t real keen on holding them, but she was damn happy to reel them in!

Can’t remember the last time she and I had so much fun.

Really nice fish and so good in these crazy times.

That’s why I went in the first place friend. I was sick of being angry with the world honestly, and decided to burn a day of vacation to help recharge my batteries a bit. I feel about 10 times better tonight.

Sipping some Pendleton in my easy-chair, and feeling like all is right in the world tonight. Well...the stuff that matters anyway.

Glad you gentlemen enjoyed seeing the photo as much as I enjoyed sharing it. She’s a little devil sometimes, but I love her dearly and she’s a complete hoot.

One of the surest ways to have good kids is to spend time with them. It isn’t 100% for sure but greatly improves the odds.

Some great memories being made there. Some of my earliest fishing memories are fishing with one of my grandfathers from about age 6. It's a big thrill for most kids.

How about you show them the treble hook you buried in your hand? Isn't that what prompted the whiskey to come out when we got home anyways!!?? Honestly, one of the best fishing outings I've ever been a part of. Weather was a bit dicey but the company and fishing was spectacular. So glad she was able to land a few lunkers!
