Wanting to have a belt buckle i made hot blued, any recommendations? Tia
The belgian bluing is great. Easy to do but you have to buy the stuff and learn how to do it. Lasts real well. Look at Brownells. I bet they have a video on it and maybe UTUBE. Ray Where are you at ?
Im in central oklahoma
For small parts where I’m in a hurry to have blued I’ve mixed up a small batchs and blued in a coffee can over a turkey fryer base.
I wound up sending it to Glenrock bluing in Wyoming
They are good.
I to use Craftguard and they were absolutely meticulous and fairly quick (10-14 days and back in the mail). They also did small parts, etc.

Heat it up with a torch and drop it in oil when it turns the shade of blue you want.
