I'm looking for where I can find a reasonably priced .358 Win chambered barrel to fit a Savage 110 Action. Just have a curiosity for the cartridge and would love to give the project a try. Anyone know where to get a standard blued barrel for a reasonable price? Thanks.

Why would you want to put a short action cartridge in a long action rifle? Why not put that 358 Winchester in a model 11? Anyway for a barrel you might want to try Sharp Shooters Supply, E.R. Shaw, Pac Nor, or Midway (used to sell them still might have some in stock). Another thing to try is posting on the Savageshooters.com forum and see if anyone has a factory takeoff for sale.
Nope on where to find the .358 Win, but....if you already have a long action... have you thought about a Whelen for a .35 fix<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Sorry guys, I used the "110" name, but plan on using a short action reciever....my mistake. I'll keep my eye out. Thanks for the feedback.
You can buy douglas barrels for savage's and put it on yourself.
One of the guy's has a rig like you describe - check out the 358 thread.

midway usa lists the 358 win as a 110 barrel.
