Has anyone used Black Ice Coatings?

It seems very similar to the Teflon coatings of the original M700 AWR.

I was talking to a guy earlier this week that had his goose gun coated approximately 10 years ago and he had nothing good to say about it.

Any thoughts or input?

I had a Knight muzzleloader that was Black Ice treated. Just like a teflon pan, it was slick but also scratched off fairly easily. If I wanted a black finish, I'd do black nitride.

Look into Black T by Walter Birdsong, I have had several old Auto-5s done and it stays put even after it appears to be worn off.

I have black ice on an action and bolt. Its held up as good as cerakote etc that I've had done.
