I am in need of the large bolt cam pin on the late Model REM 760 (not 7600) . Do any of you gunsmiths know the dimensions of this round end pin? Looks like it is about 3/8 x 3/16 with rounded ends. Impossible to find from parts dealers. THX

The original pin was a Groove pin which was a standard hardware purchase for Remington. I don’t remember the size but have replaced them with the proper sized drill bit shank, somewhere on the 40’s I think. The Groove pin has a groove down the side to allow it to bite into the hole it is installed into and stay put. When using a drill bit shank, I would peen the outer edge of the hole after installation to retain the pin. A proper sized roll pin may work.
