I have a friend who inherited his Dad’s Remington Model 11.
He would really like to have it re-blued but we don’t have anyone here locally who offers these services or in southern Indiana for that matter.
I told him he would probably have to send it off.
Does anyone have a gunsmith they could recommend?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

FWIW, "Glenrock Blue" has quite good references...

Fords is excellent, I have used them, they are about 20 minutes from the house. Turn around time is not real fast, but then there is a reason that they are busy..................

my turn around time is based on how many guns I have to blue, not going to start my tanks up for 1 or 2 gun, I have a 5 gun minimum, i blue 2 or 3 times a month

I don’t blame you.
It’s amazing to me that there are that many guns getting re-blued across the country in a months time.

Thanks Jim. That’s a little closer to home.
