I am planning to have a rifle rebarreled to .358 Winchester. I want to shoot 225g and 250g bullets. What is a good twist rate for them?
1 in 12 would work for everything you want to shoot.
For cup & core 225 & 250s a 16 twist is just fine. Copper solids, depending on shape, may or may not be too long for a 1:16.

Berger has a twist calculator on their site.

Thanks
Would go with a 12- 14 you cannot over twist
