Hello I bought a Remington model 7 300 saum with a muzzle brake and would like to remove it and install a thread protector. Simple enough but the problem is its threaded 9/16 x 18 tpi and i can't find one anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know where i could find one or have it made.
Thanks paul

You may have to use something like this :

Thanks I will look into it.

This is an easy thing to make by most anyone with a lathe. Actually, 9/16-18 is a standard tap size.

Jim shot well! So did his buddy Dan. We love shooting UBR.
Thanks for the info. A standard course thread nut fits but it looks kinda crude.
