I have to Remingtons with the X Mark Pro trigger system. I have heard that the trigger can break at the screw. I was thinking of replacing both triggers with aftermarkets. How are the Timney Triggers and the best place to buy them? Which Timney triggers should I get? I have a ADL and a SPS Tactical. The ADL will be for hunting purposes so I wouldn't go below 2.5 lbs and the Tactical is for target only. Thanks.

Jump on the Timney site, find the product for your rifle then google the product code. Several places will pop up where you can buy them.

I love Timney and have a couple currently and a couple more on order. Very good triggers IMHO.
There's lots of places to buy them but for a few dollars more you can order directly from Timney and specify the pull weight on both.

I'm pleased with both of mine. Rem 700 and one also on a Vanguard.

I have a Ruger model 77 with a tang safety. The original tang safety linkage feels solid and secure.

In contrast, the Timney linkage looks like a wire spring. Here is a picture of it to the right of the trigger housing:

I have seen a post on this forum complaining of the vague spring-like feel of the Timney tang safety linkage. Is there a better aftermarket trigger for the Ruger 77?
I have a number of Timneys, Bold, RifleBasix, and several others that escape me right now... I got a terrible string of Timneys for various Mausers that were not the trigger marked on the package. I bought them from Brownell's and had issues even getting the right triggers after dealing with their techs. Most of it was Timney's fault.

I have never found them better than any other trigger, though they are perfectly functional once installed. They will remain my last chance in triggers.

For the money the RifleBasix and Bold are hard to match...
