I have a Remington 7600 barrel that is rusted/pitted on the inside. Everything else looks good, I don't know how, but it does.
Can you buy replacement barrels from Remington or anywhere?
Hung on the wall in a house with a swamp cooler. Don't ask me how I know...

Any gunsmith can send it back to Remington for you. But... I'd shoot it first to see if it still shoots decently. It just might.
I can send it back to Remington, did not know if you can buy a factory replacement and have a competent gunsmith install.
I know there is a company out of Colorado that does custom barrels, but I just want an economical fix. It may be cheaper to just buy another rifle and scrap this one.
What caliber is it? Maybe get it rebored into something else. If its a 30-06, it would make an excellent 35 whelen. If you are serious about scrapping it and depending on what caliber it is I or someone else may be interested in it.
If you want something really special and don't mind spending a few bucks, check out this link. These folks can make it hum.

I had seen the accuracy systems website. May just have to give them a call.
Hill Billy Rifles in Newport Vermont , builds some wicked Rem. pumps . As far as , on the cheap , keep an eye on GunBroker Parts ! I sold one on there a few months ago , for less than a hundred bucks .
I had a 7600 rebarreled by Remington about 18 months ago.
Cost $106.
