Want to set one of these on my drill press. Needs to have x and y axis and 1/1000 dials. Not looking to buy a new Palmgren for 575ish....

I suspect the only USA brand is Palmgren and it would not surprise me if their current units are Chinese made. The only way to get an original US manuf. is to watch eBay and the used machinery sites. They were never that common, so finding a used one is a long shot. Yuasa( Japan) made pretty nice ones if you can find one. Their current catalog doesn't show them. Hopefully you aren't contemplating milling metal on your drill press. It does not work. You might get away with milling wood and plastic. Good luck.

A good source for used U.S. made machine tool accessories is Plaza Machinery (802) 234-9673, Joe Bergamo is the owner. +1 on the Yuasa, it is the best made import rotary table, had one in my shop and was well pleased with it. The Yuasa is a much higher quality item than a Palmgren, it will be priced higher and it may be a challenge to find a used one.
