Hi all, think this is the best forum for this question. I have a Marbles S6S tang peep sight that has a wobbly aperture sight post stem arm. The arm moves up and down as it should, but regardless of it's position it remains "wobbly". An inspection of the arm shows no signs of heavy wear. The knurled knob the raises and lowers the aperture sight post arm has a second knurled knob below it. I don't know it's function and it will not move by hand. There are two separate metal sections in the middle of the two knurled knob that the aperture arm threads into. I would think that they should be parallel, they are not. Any information on this sight would be greatly appreciated, there is so little out on the net. Thanks for your time.

Chris,

Are you able to take some close up pics of the sight?

Ed, I will try. I have a very good camera. The posting part is the trick at this time. I will look into this photo posting in the very near future as I have a few weeks off work from a heart attack. That's why I am breaking out some of my old Savages and tuning them up. Think I will stay with the .22 LR, 25-20 and 32-20 for a bit, low recoil. I will work on the photos, thanks for your reply.

See if it works? And so it did!! I was able to attach one photo. Hope this gives you something to work with. You can see the two sections with the knurled knobs and the nonparallel threaded parts. I will make every effort to get more photos attached. The last thing I would like to do is wast your time.
