Just ,acquired a New Rem 700. The trigger is 5 plus pounds.

I know there is a new trigger that is a pita, but is it adjustable?

There appears to be one screw on the front of the trigger housing; and there is a screw near the top of the trigger itself. I have adjusted quite a few of the older Rem triggers, but had not seen this one.

I figured it out.

So please enlighten those of us who have not or might be considering a buy please.

I found the manual. It said turn the screw that is located near the top of the trigger. It’s an Allen screw. Turn it counter clockwise to lighten the pull. Each turn of the screw is about one pound trigger pull.
