Great job. It takes a lot of patience to deal with some of the issues you had. Do you live around salt water? It looks like that gun was thrown in the bottom of a boat!

You'll have to tell us how it shoots.

That turned out very well. I can’t believe that some folks abuse their equipment like that.

Well done. How does it shoot?

That is cool! That’s my kind of project. What bluing method did you go with? Looks great.

That is very nice work. You really made something out of a $10 rifle. But like most here, I want to know how it shoots.

Had one back in the day and it was very accurate.

OK answers to the questions above

How does it shoot?...I don't know yet, I live near Seattle and am a boat owner, so every sunny weekend we were out in the boat, plus my parents moved this summer....so I had very little time. I am hoping to get a dry weekend this fall

Do you live around salt water? ........yes, about 5 miles from Puget Sound, but I think this gun was the victim of a Bubba, not salt water

What bluing method did you go with?...........I use the hot salts method (sometimes called hot bluing or caustic salts). I never get pictures of the bluing process because I am wearing PPE, working along and am bluing 3-4 guns at a time
