The barrel will turn slightly. Not side to side. First carbine I have had. Is this right for this gun? Thanks for any info. Or someone to talk 30 carbines.

Just gave the barrel of my Inland a hard twist. No movement. Beyond that I don't know.

Fixed it barrel band was not tight replaced screw and nut no more movement. Now waiting on new front sight. Thanks for reply.

If you mean that the barrel rotates, you need the services of a gunsmith before firing that rifle. It's possible that it was rebarreled by bubba using a pipe wrench to pull the old barrel and screwing the new one in by hand so as not to damage it.

Doesn't sound right. Let a smith check it before firing. My Inland doesn't turn at all.
