Bought a muzzle brake for my 6.5, a Gamma VG6. Been exploring the ins and outs of putting it on right . It comes with a crush washer and will need a good 120 degrees of turn to get it lined up right. Been thinking of spacers, then ran on to this video.:

Someone out there that genuinely knows about this subject tell me if this guy is full of it or is blue locktite a viable alternative to crush washers and/or spacers? And, does a crush washer put that much stress on a barrel?

I've never used anything other than screwing it on to bottom out at the shoulder. Index it by cutting the shoulder on the barrel until it index s correctly. Don't need any Loctite of any strength.

I’ve used these with good results.

I didn’t make it through the linked video, and therefore can’t comment on what was covered.

I ran a 5.56 gamma on an AR build.
Sand down the brake side of the included crush washer on a flat surface with 400 Emery cloth a little at a time.
Checking for it to snug the 12 o'clock to the 10 o'clock position frequently

When ya reach that point tighten it to the 12 oclock of the barrel.
Dont need loctite
If your 12 is around the 8 oclock position now. tightening it from that point might crack the crush washer

Sand to the 10.....

The gamma will make an AR run like a horizontal sewing machine needle.
and doesn't have an excessive blast or flash like others have.
Really good compbrake for the money.

JMO....
