Hello all, I haven't been here for some time. Things change as you know in life priorities, interest ,etc. The past few years I've gotten an interest in reloading and gunsmithing.
I have a marlin xl7 in .270win. that I purchased some years ago and as I started to develop some loads for it last year I discovered that the magazine is not long enough to accommodate the actual OCL needed for the chamber. With common factory rounds of different types the bullet jump is .187"-.205". With a 130gn accubond seating depth is still .057" off the lands to work with the mag.capacity length. Is there an aftermarket option for this issue.

try a 130g speer btsp, ogive design is different and will shoot very well jumping.

Thanks Keith , I hope I've solved my issue. I decided to take the bullets and pull the tips back in my lathe to accommodate any issues with the mag. capacity and the chamber.
now it's time to go out back with the chrono and see the vertic. When the weather will get right.
