I have some customs with Shilen, Lilja, and Kreiger barrels. All are quite accurate. They are 204, 224,244,257, and 284 bore size.

Any opinion on who makes the most accurate .172 barrel?

Well, Shilen makes the 17's for Remington.

Just read that John Krieger's personal 17 caliber rifle wears a Shilen barrel if that tells you anything.

I've had 2 Shilens and both were superbly accurate.
