My blinking envelope will not go away.
I've tried 'select all' and delete messages,
tried the 'delete cookies' link found here . . .
I was told it's because someone sent me a message and then deleted it before I read it.
How can I fix?

For those afflicted with it, there is no known fix.

A workaround is to go to your preferences and have an email sent when you receive a PM.

Trying to send a PM to a member, but don't yet have access? Any ideas?

It's somewhere in the 20-30 range.
