I have been receiving Happy Birthday Messages all day in groups of at least 8 or more messages. I received 80 as of this post.

I can't delete my birthday or turn them off.

I've never received birthday wishes. I wonder if it's because I don't have the box checked to show BD in profile or on calendar.
