A while back my avatar disappeared and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to upload one. I've changed the size of my photos and all of the ones I've tried to use were ".jpeg"

So what am I doing wrong?

If you're asking where to upload one, go to your profile page. If you're asking about the file type, I believe jpg and jpeg are the same thing so I'd think it would work as a jpeg. Have you tried uploading one on your profile page and gotten an error message?

Yes. I've tried half a dozen times to upload an avatar of my choice (a photo properly sized). The error message I receive basically says the photo I'm trying to use is not of the correct or proper type.

Have you tried saving a copy of the pic as .jpg then uploading it?

I had not tried that. It worked. Thanks!
