I was visiting #2 son in Shreveport last weekend and we hit the gun and pawn shops. He found this threaded Henry 38/357. According to him they are hard to find and this one was "priced right" at $800... He brought it home and dressed it with stuff he already owned, the suppressor, sling, scope and mounts. Not my cup of tea but he is enjoying it. I do have to admit that the fit, finish, smoothness of the action and trigger were pretty impressive. He is already working up some sub-sonic loads as well as the typical ones.

I have that exact setup except with a swfa 1-4 and a rugged obsidian 9.

Super fun gun.

Shooting subsonic 38s at 200 yards too much fun, and 180 grain XTPs with Lil gun is solid deer medicine.

Waaaay cheaper to shoot than 300 blackout too.

Sounds good. His was in today's market, yours?

I bought it in late July, but of course had to pay a transfer fee too. I think he did well.

I almost never buy new guns, but this one is so much fun I didn't really care what it cost.
