My local gunshop has ONE box of original Winchester yellow box 348 Winchester ammo for sale. The ammo is on consignment at $45.00 (no sales tax in Montana).
The bullets are the 200 grain Silver-Tips and I inspected several of them and no tarnish or defects seen.
The box is in okay shape with some tatters but the ammo was sure clean - no water spots on the cardboard.
I am not at all sure what 348 ammo goes for (out of my area of interest these days) nowadays but I have seen a few "WTB" ads for 348 ammo here and on other sites.
The shop is closed Sundays and Mondays but will open Tuesday morning at 9:00 A.M. and their phone number is 406-683-9844

Gun Geezer: Thank you for that update/assessment - I was into the shop this morning and the ammo in question is still there (2/9/2,021).
And now there is a partial box of Remington 200 grain 348 Winchester bullets on consignment along side the Winchesters.
There are 14 rounds of Remington ammo and the asking price is $30.00 for them.
Maybe I will jump on the Winchester box - I may be travelling to a distant gunshow weekend after next (depending on road conditions) and sell them there at that high traffic event?
