Just bought a Henry 44 mag lever action with side gate. Anyone own one? Thoughts on the Henry? This is my first Henry.

Like my 41 mag a lot but wish it had the side gate, I do not have any issues with the tube load though but another loading option would be great.
It will be a fun rifle.
Clean and lightly oil the inside of the outer feed tube and inside and outside of the inner feed tube. The feed tube knob has a 1-way pin so watch which way you punch it out. It also has a tooth to bite into the brass. Also, stretch the tube spring to plus 10% to insure feeding. Lightly oil the innards. All the screws have had a habit of becoming loose. Tighten them prior to each use. Enjoy!

I got a steel model, better shooting than the last marlin I had.
