I have the opportunity to buy a USRAC Winchester Model 94AE in .357 Magnum. Rifle is in great shape, looks hardly fired, scorching great deal price wise; under $400.00. Opinions of the performance please?

Assuming 90% condition, you can't go wrong for that price. I've not owned one in 357 but a 94AE was the most accurate lever action I ever had.

Why do you need to ask ? at that price buy it ! if it dose not shoot sell it !

Worked on an AE in LC for a guy. Broke the elevator.
There were 3-4 different versions, and you had to order by the exact serial number to get the correct one. Long wait for parts too.

Never heard/seen a broken elevator, till then.

Under $400? That sucker oughta be in your possession by now!!
