Will this 45 colt handle buffalo bore ammo? - 01/02/17
I know the Model 1892 & 1894's will both handle the Buffalo Bore loads. But they are both much stronger than the 1873 models. Personally, I would not shoot them in the 1873. But I bet if you called Buffalo Bore, they could tell you.

Agreed CHLI, damn sure wouldn't want that bolt in my cheekbone.
