I know a fellow who has a BLR that has no markings on it except for the 308 and the four digits on bbl. No other markings anywhere else, not even the magazine. Any ideas as to why? These are pics that were sent.

He didn't give me that. Was only asking about why no other markings.

Ah... I misunderstood. I wonder if this is a very early first year BLR. I guess he could find that out by the serial number and calling Browning.
