I gotta itch ... A gosh awful brass action Henry 44 magnum ... I shot my neighbors last weekend... Slick action .. The brass sorta grew on me .... I haven't decided on barrel length... But I have on caliber 44 .... and brass ...This carbine will be mostly range fun -gun ...
But just checking to see if anyone has had any problems with this type/brand carbine.. frist hand knowledge...

I have more than one. Wonderfully smooth and accurate rifles.

Im leaning toward the 16in barrelled model .. But I may go with the 20 inch .. My neighbors was 20 inch barrel .. It balanced great ..

I have the Henry BB Silvers (my preference over brass) in 357 and 44 with 20 inch bbl. Sweet rifles.. ...heavy, but action is butter, trigger is good and accurate as can be.

They are accurate. I don’t like the triggers on any Henry but at least I can do an easy trigger job on them. Skinner dovetail rear and blade front sight. Steel 16” Carbine, with regular lever. I think factory 44 mag peaks at 17” and slows down after that with the exception of the 180gr Remingtons which look like a rocket going into orbit even from a 24”. I’ve owned about every version, brand, style, and action, of 44 mag rifles and they are all gone now because of the BBS Carbine, its a damn shootin machine. I don’t mind possibly losing a bit of accuracy but I’m (maybe) replacing the front sight with a green fiber.

The Brass Carbine is darn nice too.
