yes i have one of those Win 94 .44 mag, that has FTF .The tip of bullet jams against top of barrel as it goes in chamber with cartrige at an acute angle , ,and sometimes it just flips the unfired cartrige out of rifle instead of into chamber ,does not matter if i work lever soft ,or hard , has anyone had any luck fixing this by changing out the carrier spring?i have had this rifle for about 14 years, never fired it much ,just took hunting once in awhile if i was still hunting, but i never remember it doing this till last year, it has slowly got worse

I’m not as up on 94s as I am on 92s but it could actually be the ejector spring. On a 94 I believe it is at the bottom and if it is too strong, it will put more pressure on the base of the round as the lever is closed tilting the nose of the cartridge up. Or since the base of the cartridge has to ride over the ejector and then under the extractor eventually, it could just flip the cartridge out before the base slips under the extractor or the extractor rides over the base if the ejector spring is too strong.
thank you for that suggestion ,i have all ready replaced the ejector spring ,it still does it
Even the replacement might be too strong since the 94 wasn’t designed to work with short cartridges originally. I replaced one in a 92 with a spring out of a Harbor Freight spring kit. It is so weak that the cases just fall over the side and on the ground at my feet. But it works and has worked without a hiccup for a couple thousand rounds.
