Picked up my Turnbull Deluxe 1892 takedown in .45 Colt today

Super cool.

Are you going to use it or is it going to be a wall hanger? I wouldnt want to bang it up, but that would be the coolest rifle in the woods by far.

My stainless Rossi 92 that began life as 454 Cassull that should have been completed and nearly as attractive in a "Bronco Nagurski" way as a half-pistol grip 45 Colt rifle with shotgun butt 24-inch octagonal barrel - that will be similar to yours - is finally complete in parts (stock set). My new, competent gun maker informs me than he will complete correcting the many previous "Bubbas" and finishing the job well, by mid-December. To me this translates to after the new year.
