I do a lot of “hike in and hunt”, hunting. My current pack is ripping beyond repair. Looking for a durable yet lightweight pack that I can stuff all my layers of clothes in, including a pair of insulated coveralls and that can be attached to my lightweight climbing stand (or attach my climbing stand to the pack). I need something that has enough room for a small boned out whitetail (40lbs of meat). What do you suggest. If it’s something cabelas carries, I have 130$ in gift cards that can be used. Thanks for any feedback.

A lightweight day pack, tree stand and a meat hauler?
I use this for packing in a tree stand and throw a water proof stuff sack in back for clothes. I think the external frames work best for packing in tree stands, climbing sticks, float tubes and doubling for a meat hauler out and have tried most types of packs. Ive tried the tree stand, day pack and not compatible for me.

It depends on what you want the pack to do. Most days I use a Badlands, similar to the 2200. I have enough gear to spend a night (if I have to) and can haul 1/2 of a boned out deer, that puts me ~85 lbs and that's all I can pack out of the mountains in a trip. Shorter trips I use a Diablo but I'm never too far in with that.
Eberlestock X2. Shorter pack but expands for packing overnite. I have used them for over 10 years and get a new one every year due to wear and blood. They clean up pretty good but I usually find another guide who needs a pack on the cheap so I get a new one
